I have a friends PC that is toast. It was a dell, not real old but at least 4 years old. My thoughts were to put the old HDD into the new Dell PC as a secondary in order for her to have all her music and photo's. However, in opening the new PC immediately saw the difference in the cable hook ups. My question, is there an adaptor that will allow me to connect the old type "ribbon" cable onto the newer "wire" type connections? Any advise/suggestions would be appreciated.
