When I went to bed last night everything was OK and I left my XP computer running as usual. This morning when I wiggled my mouse to wake up the monitor nothing happened. I used the reset button to restart and everything looked normal up to and including the Windows XP logo screen. I then got the following blue screen error message:
" Stop: c000021a (Fatal System Error)
The windows subsystem system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of ox c00001d (ox77e7e93e ox0053e1do) The system has been shut down. "
I turned off the computer completely, waited ten minutes and tried again with the same results ( except that the status numbers were ox c00005 ( ox77f5214f ox00c8dde0).
Until this morning my system has been working fine without a hint of trouble. Something occurred overnight without any help from me. What should I do?

See stop error No. 19 at www.sft-cyber.com. I suggest you try booting into safe mode (F8) and choosing last known good configuration. If this doesn't do it, go to recovery console and reinstall XP. You can choose reinstall XP, F8, and when windows finds an existing copy of itself it will give you the option to repair the highlighted installation. This should not bother your preinstalled programs or data files. You will then have to trouble shoot the program that has caused the problem.

Are you running any policies or recently installed any software? There are a couple of things micoshaft gives me feedback on. One is Roxio software giving the same stop message and could be fixed by uninstalling Go Back while in Safe Mode, the other is an Internet Explorer policy setting that could be fixed by installing SP1. Hope this helps.
