Hi - I have a similar problem .. C0000135 user32.dll "blue screen" error ..
My computer was given to me by a geek friend with a valid XP Pro version on it.
I am / was running AVG and it popped up two weeks ago and said that I had a threat and did I want to delete it ... I clicked YES -- GRRRR..
I could use my 1st Page 2000 but none of the other programs; FTP, MS Office or anything worked ...
I rebooted to my desktop once successfully but could not run Restore Point ..
On the second reboot I got the C0000135 user32.dll error "blue screen"
I took the system to my geek and he gave me the MS XP Pro certified disk ... but no serial number ... the disk load to the serial number point and stops there ...
any ideas on what to do..
I have an external with most of my back ups but my MS Office 2007 is on this C: drive too and I no longer work for the company that gave that to me.... most of my other software is ShareWare and FreeWare..

There are a number of points to make here. First of all we don't give private advice so you may not get any emails. Speaking of emails, posting your email address in the open here is an invitation to receive spam.
What similar problem are you referring to in your first sentence?
Your geek friend MAY have given you the CD in order to run the repair console. You don't need a key to do that.
If you are actually trying to install that copy of WinXP and are asking for help with a key, you came to the wrong forum. That would be illegal.
Now, to your problem. Have you tried booting to safe mode? Tap F8 at start up to get there. Once in safe mode try running your AVG again.
Have you tried Googling for that error. There are many hits. Look at the MSKB link below.
