c drive corrupt

windows will not start tried reinstalling xp but says c drive is corrupt please help

Sounds like you need to Totally wipe out your c: Drive and restart,

Take your Boot up Disk and boot up

at the command Prompt Type the Following Format c:\ *.* \s

After the formatting the drive on the System level)that is what the \s switch is for), Reinsert your boot disk and Boot up.

Sounds like you might have something in ther that is not Formatting Correctly.
