Bypass laptop corporate logon security

April 17, 2011 at 14:24:50
Specs: Windows XP

How do I get around a corporate IT Windows professional logon? The laptop has a corporate login including a list of "log on to" options such as the last "user name" and "ISO"; obviously, I do not know the user name and password. Is there a way that the system can be reset to eliminate or replace the current laptop login requirements? This is a Dell Latitude D610 laptop which was given to me from a friend who works for a computer equipment recycling company, obtaining from a company that went out of business.

I strongly suggest to install windows from scratch.
You never know, whether there is a virus or malware on this computer.
Also, there might be installed a lot of stuff, that you never need and where you have no regular license, to use it.

"...which was given to me from a friend who works for a computer equipment..."

... (X)business computers should of been "hashed" by the "IT" department before its passed on! ...(data protection act ...etc)
