upgrading, you will probably get alot of errors, just do a fresh install, better to be safe than have to worry about it in the future.

You can't do a clean install with an upgrade CD unless you have a qualifying upgrade path CD that you can pop in during the installation process.

What's wrong with your current (pirated) installation? It's very simple to make it "genuine". You didn't need to actually buy a copy of XP to do it. But since you did, all you need to do is change to the legal product key.

I didn't buy it. I sell them. This is a recurring question from customers and I don't know the answer.

Answers to the original question would be appreciated.

Next Time you Sell a Copy of Pirated XP make sure you tell your Customers to be sure to download their Windows Updates as soon as possible. I'm sure 1 of your customers sooner or later is gonna turn you in to the Authorities.

I sell the REAL versions, tards.

The recurring question is "will buying an Upgrade real version patch the pirate version?" As in "Will XP Real upgrade XP Fake, or does it only upgrade 2000 and under?"

Tards.
