The DVDs that I have burnt with dvd copy platinum won't play properly on my dvd players (latest windows media player and intervideo windvd)- Normal dvds work fine. The dvd will play fine for maybe 10 or 15 minutes then it just pauses and the players become unresponsive. I have downloaded codecs (K-lite codec pack) which says it covers 99% of videos but it still doesn't work properly. Can someone help with this problem.

Often times the burn speed has an impact on the quality of the dvd. While burning, try to set it to a slower speed to see if this helps. It's the same concept as burning a music cd at 52x, you run a much better chance of skips and bad coppies at that speed. A dvd player won't continue to play if there is a bad sector of data on the disk, it will just freeze.

Check em out. But in order to burn from any one of these two program you need to have Nero burning rom installed. While you dont use it. The two dvd programs use the burning engine.
But chances are it's either the program not burning correctly due to copywrite or burning too fast.
