Ok so I have NeroVision Express and I'm burning AVI files to the DVD. I have lots of 700mb AVI movies, but the problem is once I drag them into Nero they come out as 4gb and one movie fills up the entire disk. Is there any way to have the movie stay 700mb as it was before without losing the quality?

Move them to the DVD as a data file instead of converting to to a DVD movie file.
Of course, you will then need to play the data files on a DVD player that can play .avi files such as the one on your PC.

No my DVD player can't play AVI files. So there's no way to have the same size and quality and make it into a standard DVD?

Avi's use a certain codec that compresses them to that size, so when you are trying to make a dvd, it has to create a file that your dvd player can play, so it kind of uncompresses it to meet the dvd format. Since you're using nero, perhaps you can convert them to mp4, but only certain dvd players can play mp4 format and it wont necesserly make them the same size as the original avi.
Summary: 1. read your dvd player manual and find out wether it supports divX or not (if the answer is 'no' skip 2 & 3). if it does then ... 2. open nero go to file > preferences > expert settings and enable 'd...
Summary: Okay, me again. I've just got round to trying to burn a completely different set of videos using burning studio and the damn thing has failed again with the exact same error. So it seems it just won't...
