I don't subscribe to this service and could not get any info from their website, because you can't get anywhere without signing up. Kinda kludgy if you ask me, they ought to let you know what you're getting and what you need in the way of equipment etc. before you plunk down your money. Anyway, I'll bet that the downloads are in DiVX or some similar highly compressed format. You probably need a couple of programs, one for transcoding to .mpg and another for authoring, plus the relevant codecs. Lightspeedmovies should explain all this on their website, if not I would cancel my subscription and demand my money back.

Question -- have you ever successfully burned a DVD before? If not, I recommend www.cdfreaks.com -- a great website with many experienced video disk hobbyists to help. Try their newbie forum.

Hello Maymanj, cannot find any help files on there website, if you look on the Terms on the bottom of the webpage, its P2P.

It says there may be Pornagraphy to download, so that means to me that it is like Limewire, i was stung by a company late last year, who sold me a package like this that was free anyway. I could get Limewire free and did, but it also is riddled with Malware e.t.c.

It has support, and you seem to be able to download software to create movies.

If you paid by Credit card, i would contact them (Your credit card company) to ask for your payment to be terminated if you cannot get satisfaction in a weeks time.

Best going with a Ligit company.

Hello Maymanj, if you wish to carry on with it, you can download codec from here free.
I would choose the standard package, upto you if you want the full.

You get the option to install windows media, if you have windows media 10 untick the option for the windows media. Tick the option if you wish windows media to be the default player though.

I am new at this & have been messing with it all day. Bought a internal cd burner(sony) & installed it. Came with Nero software(I think thats what it was anyway). I finally got my movie from my camcorder onto my computer then burned to dvd. Problem is that the dvd is choppy. The video does not stream smoothly if you understand what I am trying to say. It is kind of like frames but is video. So I still have lots of figuring out to do.

It is a Sony dvd/cd rewritable drive. 8.5 gb DVD-R dual layer double layer. says max 16xDVD-R recording supported. It is all jibberish to me. Guy at Staples told me it was what I needed to burn cd's & dvd's. It has done a great job burning music cd's. As I said it burned the movie to dvd it is just real choppy, kind of like it is in frames. Probably something I am doing. I did notice(I think anyway) that when I was playing the movie from the camera onto the computer & saving it,using Nero software, that it appeared to be recording choppy.
