i recently put together a computer using a 1.3 ghz chip. now the sysetm works fine because i tested it with a 800 duron and no problems. i think theres a setting i have to change in my motherboard or something i have to do to get it to work. i have a km2m combo motherboad made by msi. i already checked the manual and changed the jumper setting to get the clock speed of the chip to 100 mhz. which fixed the probelm of not having any video. the system boots up normally untill windows trys to boot up. then it lockes up. once it gave me an error saying a file was corrupt, although probably thats from restarting to much.

If you don't receive a solution here, you should re-post in the General Hardware forum.

Good luck.
