Hi Had BT Broadband installed, but cannot get on to any past web pages I used on internet explorer. I can't access my msn explorer and can't get get windows hotfixes anymore. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? I have had no help from BT. Thanks GBB

The BT software is a bit fussy - it likes to try and control your computer. Try running the network setup wizard again - it worked for my Mum when she got broadband.

I'm on the "other side of the pond" and not familiar with how BT works. However, the problem description makes me suspicious that the DNS entries are either missing, invalid, or corrupt. Does BT have a "help" site that indicates what IP(s) to enter for DNS? I'd start there, because without DNS properly configured, the browser can accept only IP addresses in numeric form, not the "www.somebody.com" format.
Thanx for suggestions, but still no joy. Fed up using netscape, need to get hotfixes back. Tried again with BT still no joy. Think I will just try a different company. Thanx again GBB
