Comment:

i have been experiencing random BSOD lately, but i lack the time and knowledge to propurely identify my problem, and i'm seeking the help for gurus here...

things i know: BSOD are mostly random, and most of the time doesn't identify the file that causes them. when it does, the files are always some driver, ranging from network card driver, video card driver, to usb mouse driver, seem to be random.
(notice bsod seem to appear more often when using network card, but disabling doesn't solve problem)

i have read through the following forum topic:
http://forum.aumha.org/viewtopic.ph...

the dump log debug seem to be a good idea, but unforturnatly i do not know how to decipher the log to pinpoint the problem

i was wondering if someone would kindly take a look at my dumplog if i post it here
please reply and i will provide the log file here. i would like to thankyou in advance

I doubt anyone here would want to analyze dump logs. My best suggestion is that you register at Aumha.org and ask the question.

I should have better explained my reasoning when I said I doubt anyone here would want to analyze dump logs:

1. It is very time-consuming.
2. It will require a lot of postings between the OP and helper(s).

ah i see... i understand analyzing log is very time consuming, but is it possible to learn this power? (starwars reference noted, lol)
i mean, are there websites or guides or something that i can read upon to learn what to do with logs?

You amaze me amazingmao :-)

You can begin with this article. If your curosity hunger for greater technical explanation, google the net for something like "Windows XP Memory Dump Technical Reference"

With Vista scheduled to be launched in January 2007 (business tomorrow), why waste time studying something that will soon vaporize from the mainstreams of earth computers.
