The IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL error by itself doesn't really say much without it's accompanying STOP error code.

What is the stop error code?(i.e Stop 0x000000D1).

Just another stupid saying...

MS KB on this;

You said you get this from time to time, how often? When did it start? Can you associate the STOP errors with any hardware or
software you might have installed or use?

I have seen issues like this with a faulty USB port, but it could
be other hardware/software causing this. To better determine
the cause, you can have the Memory Dumps analyzed with
Windows Debugger.

Just another stupid saying...

Ok thanks, and it just started happening when I upgraded to a newer quad core cpu also it only happens when I'm running Avid Media Composer 4.0, which is apparently really "processor picky" from what I am reading. So I'm gonna do more research I guess and run the windows debugger. I'm swapping back to the old processor just to finish this product for now though.
