BSOD, can't start windows

February 14, 2009 at 22:20:49
Specs: Windows XP
My PC went to a BSOD the other day, usually I can fix no problem but this time I can't.

Everytime I start the computer before I get to a windows page it goes to the bad pool caller blue screen. Tried in all safe modes and last known good config, all end at the blue screen. Also tired partial disk recovery 4 times, it errored each time and ended up on BSOD again. I don't want to do a complete recovery as I need files from the past few weeks that have yet to be backed up to disc.

Any suggestions?

Sharelicar, possible you can boot from a boot CD? There're several around and they'll let you scan, etc.
