After setting up a Linksys wireless router G (WRT54G2) I connected to the internet fine for a few minutes then got the BSOD that said:
IRQL not less or equal
STOP: 0x0000000A (0xF8A98210, 0x00000002, 0x00000001, 0x804D9B68
I am thinking it has something to do with the nic driver version. This is what I used to setup the wireless:
Broadcom 440x 10/100 Integrated Controller
Driver version: 3.60.0.0
IRQ: 11This was the standard Dell issue, I think its been updated to 4.6 version or something by now.
So my question is: will updating the driver solve this or is something else wrong?

I would boot up in safe mode and then go to event viewer to see if you can find anything useful about the BSOD. I would also go to Device Manager to make sure there are no exclamation points indicating a device conflict. Then I would also try to update the drivers for the router. However, you may want to boot up in safe mode with networking if you have to access the Internet to update the drivers. Hopefully that won't bring up the BSOD, though.

matto2221,
You may also try "Last Know Good Configuration", by Pressing F8, while Windows XP is booting.
