browsers keep crashing

what ever web browser i run it says it had a unexpected error and needs to close or my computer totally will shut down and reboot can some one please help me i have a compaq desktop computer i run win xp pro

Boot up and review the event logs, might have to click on some to follow to ms site for more info.

"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, Make an autorun.inf folder on all usb drives.
