For some time now I have noticed my MS Explorer (version 6.0.2600) no longer keeps anything in "history". In other words it no longer keeps track of the web sites I have visited. All websites visited and all temporary internet files are deleted every time the PC is rebooted or I log out and log back in even though the setting in Explorer is to keep history for 20 days. I ran Ad-Aware and removed all the items it recommended for removal thinking that perhaps it was some divious software that had istalled itself. Still the problem persists. Any thoughts anyone on what is going on here? Thanks,

Open an Internet Explorer window and then click the Tools/Internet Options button.
Click the "Advanced" tab. Scroll down to the bottom section (Security). There is an option to "Empty Temporary Internet Folder ect. ect."
Uncheck it.
