Everytime I try to go on the net using Firefox or Internet Explorer, I keep getting "Page could not be found." did you uninstall Norton or McAfee and tried using free AV's like Avast or AVG? I had that same problem as you...what it was was that Norton had junk imbedded in the registry and unless they are removed, even after you uninstalled it...you won't be able to get online using the other AV's.
Try turning off your AV and try to get online. If you can get online, that means you have to remove some junk from the other uninstalls I mentioned. Post back. Hope that makes sense to you.
Hopefully my advice will help you...Please post back with your results....thanks
