My laptop with eula licensed windows xp home purchased in 2005 has been damaged. Is there any way of using the software into another machine. If so what is the procedure pl. The CDs are with me(supplied at the time of purchase)

You will probably find that the OEM licence is tied to the machine it was sold with and any installation in a different system would breach that EULA.

In addition, if you tried to install the operating system in a different machine, it is likely the install will fail since OEM builders routinely build in hardware drivers that only work in the system they were designed for.
