Hi all, my query is this. I have an 8 meg adsl broadband connection, on a Windows XP Home System that has 4 users all with administration rights. My Previous Isp AOL allowed me to connect to the internet, then swap onto another user account on said pc, and still have access to the internet. My new Isp will allow connection from one user account only, when I swap to another user account the connection is dead. Does anyone know of a solution please thank you in advance andy

just set up the connection for each user enable it if you dont know how to do this please ask again. after you have read this please answer me to see if it helped

Thank you for the reply. ive got a default connection. can I not just use this connection and just switch user accounts ? failing that, how do i setup the connections for each user account ? thank you

Hi, I was helped by someone who suggested that I make sure fast user switching was turned on. I am on dialup, and it worked for me. Just a thought. Bluejay
