I am not sure How I did this, but when i 'bootup' I have two winXP pro operating systems . only one works, the other gives an error.. How do I remove the 2nd one?
I can not find any 'boot.ini' file on the drive.. there is a boot.ini.backup file but that doesn't seem to have any affect. thanks for a reply

You would have to show hidden System Files, to find it.

The second article tells how to add or remove an O.S. from the boot.ini file.
The Purpose of the Boot.ini File in Windows XP

HOW TO: Edit the Boot.ini File in Windows XP

Print the articles for reference. And back all
your data, before messing with it.
