bootup freezes

i had uninstalled my printer software, it was giving some problems. the os had to restart and when it restarted thats when it froze. i could not even get into my BIOS. does any body have a clue?

does it lock up after it shows all of the ide devices and ram on your pc? you might want to try resetting your bios, see if that helps.

no, my computer is a HP8662c when you turn on the pc the first thing you see is the hp logo that is were the computer freezes and the logo flickers twice like it is trying but just goes back to the logo and stays there. at this screen normally you can press F1 to go to bios but you can tell that it too freezes
