nope didnt work, maybe theres something wrong with my boot.ini file?
[boot loader]

maybe someone will shed somelight on why it has /NoExecute=Optin at the end.
Mine reads
[boot loader]
timeout=30
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition" /fastdetect

Insert your XP CD and boot to it. Press R for recovery console. It will detect your operating system and ask if you want to log into it. Do so using your Admin password. The pwd might be blank (just hit enter key).
Once you are logged in to a C:/ prompt enter the following commands one at a time followed by enter key and answer Y to each:
FIXBOOT
FIXMBR
When finished remove the CD and reboot.Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day.

Just did a comparison between your BOOT.INI file and my own. there might be a problem with the last line of yours if what you posted above was a copy'paste from your actual file.
My last line reads as follows:
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect /NoExecute=OptInApart from the fact I have Pro and you have Home there is another difference. Note the spaces between Professional" and / and again between fastdetect and /
Did you copy/paste your info or did you type it out and just missed the spaces?

On second look yours seem fine. the spaces are there.

Care to tell us how you fixed it?

According to Microsoft Support
The /noexecute parameter enables Data Execution Prevention (DEP), a set of hardware and software technologies designed to prevent harmful code from running in protected memory locations.

well i fixed it usin tweakxp :)
u can restore the original boot.ini file from there. i done that before but didnt work.... soooooo...
-right click my computer
-advanced tab
-understartup and recovery click on settings
-i clicked on edit
and copied the 1 from tweakxp to the notepad :)
anywayz i make sure i keep a workin backup of my boot.ino on a floppy disk just incase ;)Ill go my own way...

since the text in the file was find this would indicate to me you have some disk corruption.
Go to a cmd prompt and type chkdsk /f. Answer yes to the queston, exit and restart. Chkdsk will run and correct any errors.
You may also be on the threshold of serious fragmentation. Defrag your drive asap after the chkdsk. XP can stop working if ntfs file system and severely fragmented.
FYI

ok
i defragment my computer nearly everyweek with diskeeper 9 pro so ill try chkdsk and maybe sfc /scannow :)Ill go my own way...
