kumudjoshi, not positive I follow you. Are you wanting to be able to access the laptop HD from the desktop? If so, you simply need the desktop to recognize the laptop HD and connect the two (with a cable?). Since we're dealing with 'intelligent' machines here, they can communicate. HTH. Ed in Texas.
