boot to command prompt

does anyone know of any software i can boot from to get straight to command prompt on boot up. i dont have a windows xp disc either.

I think it might be best if you explained what you are attmpting to accomplish from a command prompt. Note that you will not be able to access any NTFS drives from a DOS command prompt.
