I downloaded a whole bunch of boot screens and login screens and I was wondering. If I install them and change my boot and login screens, will it slow down my computer?

They shouldn't because they are only shown before the desktop appears and are not in memory there after. I considered doing the same with my computer and then though it is not worth it for the few seconds these screens are viewable each time I booted, which is not often.
