hello. i have a USB flash disk 4 GB and inside i have WINDOWS XP Professional. I don't have a CD ROM or DVD ROM in my PC and i want to install WINDOWS XP by booting from USB. Can i do this? If it is possible how can this be done? HELP PLZZ...THANKS

How did you get the WinXP files onto the flash drive to start. If this is a pirated copy of XP helping you is against the forum rules.

Get a legitimate copy of XP and install a CD drive.

I don't think it will work. I've tried installing XP from a USB optical drive and even it wouldn't work.

It can be done. Not worth the trouble. Start at barts and follow leads.

How about a clarification on what you want to accomplish. I understand you want to simply use the drive drive instead of the XP CD to install WinXP to a computer. Is that correct?
