how to repair..i start the computer then wait..and then boot for atapi cd rom failure..insert cd and press enter...tell me how to repair the computer...

while the system is starting, please press DEL several times...then press F5 and follow the on-screen instructions about resetting BIOS to it`s defaults...then press F10 and save the changes...

This error does not sound like a bios related issue but one of a hard drive failure.

This is a normal error when you are NOT booting a cd.

What exactly is your issue? Are you trying to boot a cd? Do you boot to your hard drive after the error?

older systems can`t skip to hdd after cd rom boot failure...he must set the hdd as first so as to boot from hdd...

"I reinstall the computer... what did you reinstall ? The OS or some hardware component ?

It looks like blue screen... what blue screen ? Can you read something like "A problem was detected" ?...or it`s BIOS screen ?
