Comment: I tryed to exchange my hard disk for another one and now when I put the old one back i get a message saying 'boot failure' I can't use a boot disk because my floppy drive is broke.
and idea wha the problem may be and how to sort it?

Reply: Your floppy drive was broken, and you were able to start Windows? I've never been able to start Windows without a floppy drive. Then again, my floppy drive had not broken down since I got WinXP.
