My computer was working fine last night. There were no lightning storms or anything like that that would of fried any components since last night. This morning my computer gives me this: Boot Failure:System Halted I tried to get into BIOS, it would say Entering Setup for 5 minutes with it never entering setup. Please help!!

A Boot Failure message could well be software related (ur O/S), but if u can't get into the bios u have a hardware problem.
1) Try re-seating/swapping/replacing ur RAM 2) Remove all PCI cards 3) Replace the HD with any other HD and see if u can get into the bios 4) Try re-setting the bios via the jumper pins (or remove the battery for a few minz)
If u still can't get into the bios after all that, then I feel a mobo replacement might be on the cards :(
Hope this helps...

I can now get into the BIOS but it takes much longer than usual..the BIOS I see my hard drive and CDRW that are installed etc. However if I try and load from CDRW the Windows XP CD, it says that it doesnt detect any hard drives. I tried my original hard drives and a hard drive with nothing on it and BIOS will detect both but not the setup. What now?
