OS: winxp pro
CPU/Ram: intelP4/640MB

windows failed to start, i've tried to start it in safe mode but to no avail. i pulled up the cable connecting to hard drive then reconnected it, windows starts but when i try to restart the machine the monitor turns black and message appear" boot failure:system halted" what do you think was the problem.pls. help me, thanks.
