Is there way to make a full boot disk from XP? The one with FDISK and Format option available like the win98 boot disk ?
The XP boot disk is a command disk only.
Thanks

To create a bootable floppy from within WindowsXP:

Insert a floppy into the A: drive
Open the Explorer
Right click on the A: Drive
Select Format
Check Create an MS-DOS startup disk
Click on the Start button
This will create a Millennium boot disk

You will need to copy the FDISK.exe and FORMAT.COM files separately.

Not a fully automated solution!

I think you could use 98 bootdisk for XP also. I don't think it really matters. If you want to create a bootdisk for reinstallation of XP, it's not needed since XP could do that itself. But if it's for other purposes then get the 98 bootdisk from Bootdisk.

Hope that helps.

Kevin.
