when i turn computer on i get a black screen and a message boot from cd and i have to have xp disk in drive to load windows,this started three days ago can someone help(new to computers)

OK. There is almost always a pretty big sequence to fixing boot up and bios problems. Bios is the program built into the motherboard to make your computer start up right. You sould probably take it to somebody who is a professional to diagnose your problem.
