If you have all the windows xp files, normally stored on a windows xp installation cd and want to burn a bootable cd, you'll need the cd boot record. Try google for xpboot and you'll find hits for xpboot.bin. This is the cd boot record. Download it, start your burning software and look for CDROM boot or DVD boot, depending on the software, you're using. Here you have the opportunity to load the cd boot record file.
