I have just installed a new application and it looks fine, but when I click on any of the buttons to get it to work I get a single "bong" and nothing happens. It is an application so I can send voice messages by e-mail.

Maybe you should provide the name of the application and what you were trying to achieve when you got the bong sound.

They used to say a picture tells a thousand words but in this case a few more words would give the picture.

Once I thought I was wrong, now I'm not so sure!

The name of the application is "voice e-mail pilot" It can be found at www.colorpilot.com
I have a friend who sends me voice messages with it and we both have XP Professional.

Have you checked out the FAQs from the manufacturer site? Do they have a forum? What about their own support options...as that would be the best place to check for an answer.

Other than that...I would say to use the programs uninstaller(if they have one) and uninstall/reinstall the program. If that doesn't fix it then go through the settings and try to tweak it out...it is already broken so you can't hurt it any more!

When I see the words "bong sound", I think of bubbling water. LOL.

Please let us know if you found someone's advice to be helpful.
