I have recently installed a bluetooth dongle compete with its drivers. As soon as it was installed successfully my sound card drivers got knocked out and I had almost no sound (could hear muffled sound but only just audible). I had to uninstall my dongle and reinstall sound card drivers. Could anyoone tell me why this happend please and how I can get round it? Thanks

More than likely an IRQ conflict. Read up on your system's motherboard manual to see how to set up new IRQ to different hardware. Sometimes the soundcard can be relocated to a different slot and it will suffice to stop the conflicting issues
