Blue text under files

Hello, I have seen what it means before but I can't remember what it means when you have blue writing under icons instead of black in a folder.

Thanks, I thought it was that but I don't seem to have to option to compress them on this machine so I couldn't test it to see if it did turn it blue.

Could it be something to do with the file system used?

I'm using FAT32, maybe it needs NTFS
