hi, My computer has being acting wired ever since i made it up my self. when i am playing ANY game, half way into the game, a blue screen appears, telling me about a STOP error. also, every time it does it, a diffrent driver is said. e.g nv4_disp.dll. It says try changing video adaptors, but mine is brand new! could my problem be that my Nivida geforce4 mx440 8x graphics card doesnt go with my VIA chipset? have i got bad ram, is it my psu (250watt) ect.... spec: Athlon xp 1900 256mb ddr pc2100 geforce 4 mx440 8x Jetway v6dp 56k modem (not installed) 250watt psu
Did you install the VIA 4in1 package? Also try installing new /other drivers (check www.guru3d.com) for your videocard

I recently Had the same Problem. I changed The Memory, Hard Drive, Video Card and It still Happened. When I reformatted the Hard Drive it would not let me complete setup. I eventually Changed from a Mercury Motherboard to an Asroc one and It worked fine. I beleive it to be a slight incompatibilty between the motherboard and certain hardware namely the Video Card. Since this is a new build I would recomend swapping motherboards or finding another make of video card as it was a GEFORCE I was using on both occasions.
