My Toshiba won't boot up at all. Can't Safe Mode. Only end up getting "Registry_Error" message with the number STOP: 0X00000051. I looked up that number and it is supposed to be a Windows 2000 error message. Anyone know what it means and what can be done about it?

I have tried all of it. System Restore, F8, backup disks, upload new OS of XP small Business......ain't nothing gonna work.....what else can I do? Is it worth even bothering to send it back to Toshiba? I managed to pull the HD and make it portable and CAN access the data. Could it be a fried motherboard? How do you diagnose it?
