boot up in safe mode and restart normaly it may take two or three times. Have you recently been to windows updates? That is what caused mine to do that. I unistalled the updates and all was fine. With XP pro windows updates have caused me more problems than I care to mnetion right now. But good luck. If you have changed any settings or installed any programs before the screen you should unistall them
If you can get to the start up screen by pressing F8, I suggest you try last know good configuration or if you can boot into safe mode, use restore to go to a point where your system was last workable. You did not tell us what you installed that caused your system to show the BSOD.
