I get the blue screen of death also!! i thought after progressing from win 95 -win98 -winMe to XP that the problem was FINALLY gone.... well it was for about a year..... now its worse than any previous windows version ever crashed...

My config is :
Asus A7VLVM mainboard with onboard shared 32mb vid

2x 256Mb Pc133 sticks,

internal 56K modem, 8 Usb ports, onboard sound, 40 gig WD caviar hdd.

This really s---s me..... Its a pain in the arse, not to mention stressing, inconvenient, and annoying that nobody seems to know exactly what or why the problem is caused!

overheating and bad memory are the 2 chief causes of the blue screens.
when this first started ,you shoulda done a system restore to an earlier date when the computer werked okay
