Blue screen of death no safe mode possible

January 24, 2011 at 17:59:54
Specs: Windows XP Professional, Pentium 3 / 3 Gigs
I installed the new drivers for my NVidia GT 8800. The computer worked fine all week. I turned it off over the weekend, and then when I turn it back on, I keep getting the BSOD. Originaly it would get to the Windows Startup screen, and then crash. I then tried to start it in safe mode. It started up fine and then when I started to do a system recovery to an earlier date, it gave me the blue screen again. Now, I cant even get past the startup screen without it crashing no matter what I try to start it in. It won't even start in safe mode now. The BSOD keeps saying to disable anti viruses, firewalls or any updated drivers. Error code says" *stop 0x00000024 and then the other junk inside (). I cant even get in to remove updated drivers, shut down anti-viruses, or firewalls. I don't thing anyone is going to be able to help me, but it's a shot.

you may try removing the HD and slaving it to another PC and extracting the viruses that way.

Some HELP in posting on Computing.net plus free progs and instructions Cheers
