I'm using windowsXP pro, and from time to time the computer crashes and gives me the famous Blue screen of death.

Today, the error code was:

Stop: 0x0000008E (0xC0000005, 0x804D4E72, 0xBA876CF0, 0x00000000)

I have any clue of the meaning of that!

Can somebody help me.

Thanks
Ricky

I have:
AMD Athlon XP2100+
MSI mobo (via KT333 chipset)
2 x 256 MB DDRAM 2100
1 Sound Blaster live
2 HDD (40GB Maxtor and 80GB Seagate)
1 DVD (Hitachi GD2500)
1 CDRW (Plextor 12/10/32A)
1 Lian Li case (with 4 fans)

I had a very similar problem that even microsoft tech support didn't have a clue what was going on. As it turned out XP didn't like my CDRW drive. Try unplugging it and see what happens. My system is configured similarly to yours.
