Early yesterday my computer was running just fine. As soon as i shut it down and tried to turn it on again the Safe Mode screen popped up i thought it was nothing of a big deal. It said
Safe Mode
Safe Mode Networking
Safe Mode with Command Prompt
Last known good configuration
Start windows normally.Ok, i tried the start windows normally and few secs later i got a blue screen saying this
"A problem has been detected and Windowshas been shut down to prevent damage to your computer
UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME
If problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed hardware or software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing... etc"
I tried all the Safe Mode options.. it still led to the blue screen saying that. I didn't install any new software last time my pc was running normal. And i can't enter windows to the main screen to see whats the problem. Please someone help me how to fix this problem. My computer is DELL Dimension 2300. Is there a cd that came with dell to fix this? or stuff like that.. + I was thinking of formatting but i can't get to my desktop to enter the win xp formatting disk to format the pc because of the blue screen thing that comes up when i turn on my pc. Please if any of you know how to fix this problem help me step by step if you can i really appreciate it. + Just to not make you confused I am on my other computer right now Compaq i can't access my dell one.
