I'm having all sorts of start up problems. But I see a blue error screen flash by, too fast for me to read. Is there anything I can do to stop it long enough to read it? I'm sure it might contain useful info

Does your machine reboot after this blue screen? If it does it is the BSOD, possible hardware fault.
