blue screen 0x0000007b

Specs: Windows XP SP3, pentium D 2.8, 2.5 gigs ram
seems i got a virus that curupted my c:\windows\system\ i get a message to try and repair it with the original disk, well now i try to reinstall windows on the computer and i get the BSOD as soon as the windows loading comes up after it loads all the drivers. have tryed 3 diff versons of windows and even useing 2diff hd's (1 was IDE and the other RAID) with the samn BSOD comeing up every time the exact message i get is blue screen ***stop: 0x0000007b (0xf78da63c, 0xc0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

Take a look at the system bios.
Maybe there is an option for the harddisk controller to operate at AHCI. You may have to switch this to IDE for the installation.
After windows and all service packs are installed, you can switch this option back to AHCI.

now i get to the setup screen and i accept the terms of servace and get another BSOD this time its bad_pool_caller 0x000000c2

Have you pressed the F6 key to install a special driver from the manufacturer`?
