Is there a way i can block selected web sites with my windows xp operating system , without the need to install web sites blocking software ?

Edit the HOSTS file, usually located here:

C:\WINNT\system32\drivers\etc

Add entries like this:

0.0.0.0 ctxtad.tribalfusion.com #PRE
