Blinking light?

i have a dell 4700. everything was running fine. i shut it down like i do once in a while. i come back and hit the power button, and now it just blinks. nothing in the computer will turn on at all.. the light just blinks. i disconnected the power, and held the power button in. it still just blinks. can someone please tell me whats causing this?

First of all a dell 4700 should be under warranty...so you have some calls to make there... Sounds like psu is shot, but why not open case and reseat all cables, as it could just be a "hot spot" somewhere...go slowly and carefully/
