Mkay, I have this problem.
When I load up Windows XP it boots, and shows the boot screen with the caterpillar bar, but then it goes entirely blank. Does anyone know what could cause this?

Hi dellfreak,
First of all, if your cpu is overheating that fast, you really need to remedy that.
Second, did this problem just happen one day or did you do something prior that may be the cause? Did you recently update any video drivers or install a new videocard?
If so, try an older video driver.
Regards
Dark Shadow

Hmm, it might be the CPU. I dunno, I live in pretty hot place, and so it could be (although clearly that is not the chief factor in CPU overheating).
Uhm, this is a recurring problem. I've had to reinstall Windows about five times...using the standard drivers that I'd been using before. Result: same thing happened a few boots later.
Apparently, installing Windows on a different partition helps, and lets my initial Windows boot up.
Deleting this copy has returned us to scenario 1.
Sorry for lack of details. ;)

How many video cards have you got before i got a new video card but i didn`t remove the old one,i booted up went to the boot screen then i got a blank screen with some beeps so if you got 2 or more video cards remove them but all of them just leave one in there
