Blank screen after XP SP1 update

I installed SP1 via windowsupdate and now I only get a blank screen when I start up. The screen goes in standby. I can access in safe mode. I tried installing new Nvidia Gforce2 drivers, but didn't help. I tried uninstall SP1 but nothing...
Please help me. Otherwise I think I ahve to reinstall XP. And that's no happy feeling.

Look through the Event Viewer log files to see if anything has been logged. Also, try uninstalling the video drivers, rebooting, and seeing if Windows boots normally and reinstalls new ones...
